Cartridge wars, the jump to 3D and the soundtracks you still hum

This is the room most of us grew up in. The nineties gave us the console wars, the first polygons, memory cards that never had enough blocks and boss fights we still talk about at barbecues. Every exhibit in this wing was released in the 1990s, and every one has been tested on hardware of its day before it earned an inventory number.
